Aker Yards and Borgestad ASA have constructed a new office building in Brevik. Landscape architect Jan Feste was present from the first stages of the project, and was an influence in situating and accommodating the building on the site. The landscape architects and architects worked closely together in achieving a successful result.

Suspending the building over the steep mountainside and the sea has emphasized the building site's distinct qualities. Consequently the large structure has successfully been integrated with the existing landscape on the site. On arrival the building appears rather small in size, and from the sea, the building gives the impression of being part of the rock wall.

The outdoor areas are simple and functional. The most important elements are a slanting entrance area of granite, trees standing in steel casing and lighting that highlights the entrance and the main focus points on the site.
